Remember those photos I promised?

Well these aren't them. Hehehe. But they are just too cute and you can see how good his skin is looking. And the awesome hat I knit for him. I've been doing a lot of reading lately on the SCD diet and healing our guts. I'll be adding links soon, but for now, Enjoy! And if you'd like to see more, you can visit his page.

hey Jess, sorry for posting twice, but I forgot to ask: are you still using the sassparilla salve you made? Would you mind posting the recipe?

My hands/fingers, feet and toes are flaring up and split and the steroid ointment the doctor gave me isn't helping at all.

those would be his babylegs :D they're awesome, i love them!

i am still using the sarsaparilla salve and it's definately been helping during flare ups. i took dried sarsaparilla and burdock root and put them in a crockpot and covered them with olive oil. Then I turned it on low and left them there for about 8 hours. Then strained them and added shea butter to solidify it a bit. Then poured it into a jar and let it cool.

I have some left over from a previous batch that also has chickweed (I think he reacted to the chickweed. If you'd like I can send you a little tin. It's a bitch to open though. Pretty near impossible.

My 6-month old daughter has very bad eczema. It is so itchy that she keeps scratch her head, ears, and face. We have tried several methods but with no improvement. The sarsaparilla salve you mentioned sounds wonderful. Can you please tell me where I can purchase these materials? Or even better, is there a place sell the salve?

Thanks a million,
Jason
